(All of our programs and services are free & confidential)

 

 

Crib Award

This program is designed to be educational as well as fun!

The course of study includes such topics as:

 "Learning to Know Myself", "My Lifeline", "Dreams", "My Baby and Me",

"Basic Decision Making" and much more.

 

Also videos such as "Breast Feeding and Formula" are included.

 

Those who complete this six to eight week course of study will be awarded a crib, mattress, sheet set and bumper pad for his/her new baby.

 

Baby Bucks

This educational program is designed to help our clients in raising their babies.  During the six to eight week course he/she will complete lessons taken from the book:

"How to REALLY Love Your Child", by Ross Campbell, M.D.

Other books that are used:

"When God Writes your Love Story",

"Five Love Languages of Children",

"Boundaries with Kids"

 

By attending each class and completing the lessons, each client will earn

"Baby Bucks" that will be spent shopping in our "Baby Boutique". 

Items that are located in the Baby Boutique include: baby clothes, toys, dishes, tools, diapers, books, pictures, photo albums, books and much more. 

  

This is a good opportunity to "earn while you learn".

 

Blankies for Babies

 

As we all know babies go through a lot of blankets and that is why we have started a new program called "Blankies for Babies". Those who are in need of blankets for their babies & toddlers can come in and watch a 20 - 30 minute parenting video. They will receive nice handmade blankets, quilts, afghans that are donated to the PRC from "Project Linus" and "Psalms 139". Blankies for Babies will be sure to help keep babies and toddlers warm during cold winters. 

 

Fatherhood N.F.S (Not For Sissies)

 

We will soon be offering a new program designed just for dads called Fatherhood-N.F.S.(Not For Sissies).  It's a program for fathers to be, new fathers and anyone else assuming the role of father figure in the family. It will consist of ongoing 12 week sessions with hands on training, manuals with tests, videos, guest speakers and support groups. The curriculum will cover understanding pre & post birth moms, bonding, baby safety, diapering, feeding, bathing, instilling good family values, when & how to discipline. And will offer incentives for completing the program. Not For Sissies goal is to instill a sense of responsibility in the hearts of the dads who participate.
